6. How long we keep your information

We retain personal and health records for a period of seven years following your last contact with us. This is in line with standard practice for health and wellbeing providers and enables us to provide continuity of care should you return to us in the future.

After seven years your records will be securely deleted or destroyed.

If you withdraw your consent and ask us to delete your records before this period, we will do so unless we are legally required to retain them.

7. Who we share your information with

We treat everything you share with us as strictly confidential. We will not share your personal information with any third party without your explicit consent, with the following limited exceptions:

  • Where we are legally required to do so — for example in response to a court order

  • Where we believe there is a serious and immediate risk of harm to you or to another person — in such circumstances we may need to contact appropriate services without your consent

  • Where you have given us your explicit consent to liaise with your GP, consultant or other health professional

We never share your data with advertisers, marketing companies or any commercial third parties.

8. Working alongside mainstream health services

Where you ask us to liaise with your GP, oncologist, consultant or other health professional, we will only do so with your explicit written or verbal consent. Any such communication will be limited to what is necessary and relevant to your care. We will always tell you what we have shared and with whom.

  • The right to access — you can request a copy of the personal information we hold about you at any time

  • The right to rectification — you can ask us to correct any inaccurate information we hold about you
